Detailed Planning Post process

The Detailed Planning Post process consolidates your detailed plan data and stores the results in the detailed planning model, or the linked financial model, or both.

Note:  You can also post from within Detailed Planning Manager.

The Detailed Planning Post process updates model member properties with the attributes of detailed planning objects only when the selected scenario is the Default DP Scenario.

When a Detailed Planning Post is executed for a non-default scenario, attribute definitions for objects are not posted to the model member properties. However, if the non-default scenario contains objects that do not exist in the default scenario, those objects and their associated attributes are posted to the model.

Note:  If you subsequently run a Detailed Planning Post for the default scenario and those non-default scenario objects do not exist in the default scenario, the corresponding member properties will be set to null.
