To make the two written parts of Copilot prompts more explicit, the example prompts below show the Task bolded and the Scope italicized.

 Note:   Limited Language Models (LLMs) are non-deterministic, therefore the answers returned by the agent will vary; also, the answers are affected by your model structure.

Ad-hoc request on historical revenue

You are a CFO. You’re in a board meeting and a board member asks you for the average growth rate of revenue over the past five years. You know the last three years but need some help remembering the previous ones. You know the account key is 40.

  1. From the Copilot drop-down you select Reporting Agent | Revenue.

  2. You prompt: Make a table of Account 40 over the last 5 years.

    Reporting Agent provides a table of (40) Gross Revenue over the last five years.

Chart payroll costs by department

You are a VP of Finance and you want to create a chart of payroll costs per department.

  1. From the Copilot drop-down you select Reporting Agent | Personnel.
