Task Assistant
Task Assistant is a part of Prophix One Intelligence.
You can use the Task Assistant to tell FP&A Plus what to do.
All you need is some familiarity with the words or phrases to use with Task Assistant.
How to use Task Assistant

In the top right-hand corner of your application, click the Prophix One Intelligence icon:

The Prophix One Intelligence panel opens.

From the drop-down, select Task Assistant.
The Task Assistant interface opens.

Type a command and press Enter.
Task Assistant runs the command, or asks for required information that is missing.
Example:Some examples of using the Launch command:
- If you type Launch Ad Hoc, Ad Hoc Analysis opens.
- If you only type Launch, Task Assistant asks "What module would you like to open?"

If you type Launch studio, Task Assistant responds with a list of options for you to select from.
Typically, to continue a conversation with Task Assistant, you do the following:
- To select an option, speak/type the number of the option, or click it.
- To answer a question, speak/type your answer.
- To accept or decline an action, speak/type Yes or No.
- To end the conversation, speak/type Exit or Cancel.
What you can tell
- In the following table, parameters that you need to provide appear in this format: [this is a placeholder].
- If you omit a parameter, that is OK: Task Assistant asks further questions and in certain cases provides options.

In some commands, when you have the file open that is the object of the command (for example, a template, a report binder, or other), you can use this in place of the actual file name.

Module names
Launch [module name]
- This Task Assistant command opens a FP&A Plus module.
- If you omit the module name, Task Assistant provides a list of options.
- For module name you can use any of the following:
- Ad Hoc or Ad Hoc Analysis
- Announcements (for Announcements Studio)
- Dashboards or Dashboard Studio
- DPM or Detailed Planning Manager
- Doc Ex or Document Explorer
- Drill Across or Drill Across Designer
- Filters Manager
- Journals or Journals Manager
- Model Manager
- Process Manager
- Report Binder
- Security Manager
- System Hub
- Templates or Template Studio
- Workflow or Workflow Manager
- Workflow Tasks
Run command
The Run command has two versions, depending on whether you want to run the process now or in the future.
Run[process group name]
- Adds the process group to the queue to be run immediately.
- If you omit the name of the process group,Task Assistant prompts you for it.
Run[process group name]on[date]at[time]
- Runs the process at a scheduled time.
- When speaking the date, you can use any format.

When typing the date, the format is mm/dd/yyyy.
Tip: For the date, you can also say today and yesterday.
- You can omit either the date or the time.
- If you omit the time, the default time is midnight of the date you specified.
- If you omit the date, the process runs today at the time you specified.
The Run command has the following variations:
- Run[process group name]at[time]
- Run[process group name]on[date]
- Run[process group name]on[date]at[time]
- Run[process group name]at[time]on[date]
- Run[process group name]at[time][date]
- Run[process group name][date]at[time]
Distribute command
There are two versions of this Task Assistant command, depending on your location in FP&A Plus
Distribute[report binder name]as[file type]
- You can give this version of the command from within any module.
- If you omit the name or file type, Task Assistant prompts you for them.
- For [file type] you can use any of the following:
- Excel or Spreadsheet
- Word or Word Document
- PowerPoint or Presentation
Distribute this
- You can use this version of the command if you are in the Report Binder module.
- This refers to the currently open report binder, which can be an existing report binder, or a brand new unsaved one.
