Task Assistant

Task Assistant is a part of Prophix One Intelligence.

You can use the Task Assistant to tell FP&A Plus what to do.

All you need is some familiarity with the words or phrases to use with Task Assistant.

How to use Task Assistant

  1. In the top right-hand corner of your application, click the Prophix One Intelligence icon:

  2. The Prophix One Intelligence panel opens.

  3. From the drop-down, select Task Assistant.

    The Task Assistant interface opens.

  4. Type a command and press Enter.

Task Assistant runs the command, or asks for required information that is missing.

     Example:

Some examples of using the Launch command:

    • If you type Launch Ad Hoc, Ad Hoc Analysis opens.
    • If you only type Launch, Task Assistant asks "What module would you like to open?"
    • If you type Launch studio, Task Assistant responds with a list of options for you to select from.

Typically, to continue a conversation with Task Assistant, you do the following:

    • To select an option, speak/type the number of the option, or click it.
    • To answer a question, speak/type your answer.
    • To accept or decline an action, speak/type Yes or No.
    • To end the conversation, speak/type Exit or Cancel.

What you can tell

  • In the following table, parameters that you need to provide appear in this format: [this is a placeholder].
  • If you omit a parameter, that is OK: Task Assistant asks further questions and in certain cases provides options.
  • In some commands, when you have the file open that is the object of the command (for example, a template, a report binder, or other), you can use this in place of the actual file name.

Example:  Distribute this. (Used with report binders, as described below.)
