Reporting categories

In detailed planning, you get a quick overview of the data calculated for each entity by looking at the Summary tab. One of the ways to view this calculated data is by the Reporting Categories View. Each calculation appears beneath the reporting category that you assigned it to. You manage reporting categories in the Administration panel.

 Note:  You can't use reporting categories in the detailed plan; they exist strictly inside Detailed Planning Manager and are never posted to detailed plans.

Reporting categories for personnel planning

When you create a personnel detailed plan, the following reporting categories are created by default, in this order:

  • Earnings
  • Benefits
  • Tax
  • Revenue
  • Expenses
  • Other
  • None
  • Hours
